Dubai's largest home lender hits milestone

Dubai’s largest home finance lender, Tamweel, has financed one billion dirhams worth of property, as of this month. It only started operating in March.

“The real estate sector in the UAE is booming and many home buyers are looking towards Tamweel for Islamic financing options,” said Tamweel CEO Adel Al Shirawi.

He said: “Achieving the one-billion-dirham mark in less than eight months is a clear indication that Tamweel is committed to providing its customers with a range of innovative and diverse products in the shortest possible time, coupled with highest level of customer service satisfaction.”

The company has strategic alliances with several local real estate agents and has employed and aggressive marketing plan. Tamweel also launched a service whereby people can apply for financing before selecting a property.
