Bahrain government to employ Microsoft product

The Bahrain Ministry of Commerce will start its e-investor project solution using Microsoft technology.

The technology will be installed by the kingdom’s largest auditing firm, BDO Jawad Habib. The tech product will integrate all governmental bodies into the one-stop-shop investment centre, making it simpler for foreigners to invest in Bahrain projects.

According to Bahrain officials, the e-investor programme simplifies the commercial registration process, maintains operational efficiency and interacts with external organizations involved in licensing activities.

“We are pleased to be working with Microsoft on implementing the e-investor solution. Our partnership with Microsoft has provided us with the technical knowledge required for applying the best solution for the project. By implementing the e-Investor solution, the Kingdom of Bahrain has now put itself on the technology road map of the region and the world,” says HE Ali Saleh Al Saleh, Minister of Commerce.
