Focus Softnet partners with Sundaram Infotech
Focus Softnet has partnered with Sundaram Infotech, the IT services division of the 50-year old Sundaram Finance to distribute its banking and financial service applications across the Middle East.
Focus Softnet has signed an agreement with the Indian Sundaram Infotech Solutions (SIS) to distribute its banking and financial service applications across the Middle East.
With OmanTel as one of its regional customers the IT services division of the 50-year old Sundaram Finance will leverage on Focus Softnet’s 300 strong employee base across nine offices in the Middle East to market and support its applications.
Focus Softnet, which develops its own enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and accounting applications will market Sundaram’s Smart Lend and LexSys Credit Appraisal Solutions in the first phase.
“Focus Softnet is a perfect partner for SIS and we are absolutely confident that we will be able to market our products successfully in this region,” says Raghunathan, general Manager of SIS.
The Oracle based Smartlend, is an online solution to automate all the standard processes in non-banking finance and investment companies (NBFC). It also handles corporate and retail lending management requirements besides maintain up-to-date agreement level accounting.
LexSys assists credit mangers in the finance vertical in the objective assessment of retail credits. Apart from performing pre-sanction appraisal, LexSys keeps track of the repayment performance of the borrowers. The company’s 100 plus software developers in Chennai, South India develop all of these products.
Sundaram’s other products include DeMax, enterprise dealer management software targeted at dealers to help them in their sales, marketing, HR and financial accounting functions.
“Keeping in line with the expansion of financial markets in the Middle East, we looked for solutions addressing this segment and with this partnership we hope to provide the right solutions,” adds Ali Hyder, executive vice president of Focus Softnet.
