Hotel lost 30m underground

Design is said to be very impressive

The Lost City is likely to have a hotel that is to be built some 30 m below the sands of Dubai. It is proposed to be called The Cavern. Those, who have seen the designs of the proposed underground hotel, say that these are very impressive.

The hotel will have anywhere between 200 and 300 rooms, according to the plans. From the entrance, staff and guests will travel by elevators and escalators down to the main area of the hotel. There will though be parts of the hotel that will be located above the ground.

The project forms part of The Lost City that is being built by Nakheel in an area beyond the Jebel Ali Village. The developer is expected to announce details of the project shortly.
