Legrand advocates structured cabling

France-based electrical appliance supplier looks to targets its structured cabling solutions at the UAE construction industry.

Electrical appliance supplier, Legrand, is exhibiting at Gitex for the first time this year. The France-based vendor has one certified installer in the UAE and is looking to further expand its operations in the country.

“With the current construction boom in the UAE, it seems appropriate that we make ourselves well known in this market,” says Mohammed Ahmed Yahia, general manager for Gulf countries, Legrand. “We are already number one in Europe for wiring accessories and we have about 26,000 employees across 60 countries. We have come here to display our structured cabling solutions and some special cabinets for IT systems. We are also looking for new partners in this region,” he adds.
