Alcatel has teamed up alongside its long-term UAE partner Al Futtaim to showcase its solutions and products to potential customers from across the Middle East and Africa. Alcatel considers the Middle East to be one of its most promising geographical business areas worldwide. Occupying the upper floor of the Al Futtaim booth, network equipment provider and end-to-end communication solutions provider Alcatel is focusing on three main business areas.

The vendor will highlight its mobile communications offering that enables successful multimedia services. Alcatel is also demonstrating its capabilities in fixed communications network services tuned to business and residential applications. The third element of Alcatel’s Gitex triple whammy is its tailored end-to-end communication solutions target at specific industry and public sector verticals.

Alcatel is a preferred supplier for Etisalat, providing the company with modern technology standards that have helped the operator to construct communications networks that meet the market needs from simple telephone services through to sophisticated multimedia networks.
