Alesayi and BusinessObjects ink deal

Alesayi electronics has teamed up with Business Objects for enterprise performance management. It wants to transform the enterprise from functional centric to process centric using leading edge techniques such as Balance scorecard.

Saudi-based Alesayi Group is deploying solutions from BusinessObjects to manage enterprise performance.

The vendor’s solutions provide an innovative, flexible, and integrated framework for building and deploying metric-centric business intelligence (BI) solutions.

By providing stakeholders with a view of the business via a dashboard containing alerts, scorecards, analytics, and reports users can monitor key business metrics, analyze performance issues, and set goals to get their operations back on track.

Ease of deployment and ease of use were two critical factors in the company’s decision to select BusinessObjects. Using its solution, Alesayi will provide executives throughout the Kingdom with dashboards, enabling them to track, understand, and manage their organisation’s performance.

“We are a customer-centric company, and hence it is vital that we deploy a business intelligence solution that provides visibility into the progress of all our projects,” says Samir Alwani, IT Director at Alesayi Electronics.

“The Balanced scorecard solution being deployed at Alesayi will consider various aspects such as customer, supplier, employees, shareholders and internal business procedures. The aim is to transform the enterprise from functional centric to process centric using leading edge techniques such as Balance scorecard. With Business Objects solution, the ability to track, understand, and manage performance will increase and also enable us to demonstrate the value we bring to our clients,” he says.

“The need for business intelligence extends to every corner of geographically dispersed enterprises,” says Mohammed Khasim, sales manager at Business Strategies Group.

“Our solution is enabling Alesayi to create the exact reporting environment it needs to improve performance at every level and at every location of the organisation.”

The vendor has more than 24,000 customers in over 80 countries. The 88 of the Fortune global 100 companies rely on the company for their business intelligence solutions.
