eSys picks up UAE Joybook rights

Components distributor eSys’ rapid business diversification has cranked up yet another notch with news that the company has been appointed as an official distributor for BenQ Joybooks in the UAE.

Components distributor eSys’ rapid business diversification has cranked up yet another notch. Not content with launching its own brand accessories, starting up a components repair centre and planning a Jebel Ali-based contract assembly operation in recent months, eSys has now signed up to distribute BenQ Joybooks in the UAE.

Speaking at the glitzy launch of BenQ’s latest notebook, the Joybook 7000, Manish Bakshi, director at BenQ Middle East and Africa, confirmed that a deal had been struck.

“We are pleased to confirm that we have appointed eSys as our distribution partner for our range of Joybook products across the UAE,” said Bakshi. “This partnership is effective as of today and we expect good things to follow from our relationship.”
