MultiSell makes Libya move
Media solutions provider MultiSell Technology Middle East has moved quickly to appoint MEDRA Trading as a distributor for the emerging Libyan market. MEDRA will stock and service MultiSell’s range of multimedia solutions.
MultiSell Technology Middle East (MultiSell) has added to its channel network of partners by signing up MEDRA Trading, a Tripoli-based outfit, to supply the Libyan market with MultiSell’s range of multimedia solutions.
“We have been negotiating with MEDRA Trading and studied the Libyan market for quite some time now. The recent developments of USA lifting its embargo on Libya have made the timing imminent in entering into this fast growing market. Massive government initiatives in building infrastructure in terms of education, health and transport along with the establishing of major multinational corporations in the country, has helped us define our key vertical markets” said David Holm-Glad, managing director at MultiSell.
“MEDRA Trading has the resources, location and competence to fulfill our requirements as channel partner such as sales, system integration and support. Initially, we will handle the first few installations from Dubai and will give our agent authorized training in deploying and servicing our systems,” commented Mohamed El Omari, MultiSell's vice president marketing.
The two companies are already working on a project within Libya’s educational sector aimed at establishing an advanced training institute in Northern Africa and plan to launch a roadshow in the country early next year.
“Together with MultiSell, we intend to play an important part in bringing Libya the latest technology available,” added Mahmoud Geriani, general manager at MEDRA Trading.
MultiSell was founded earlier this year as a subsidiary of the German company MultiSell Gmbh, and sells a range of unique gesture-controlled solutions designed for a variety of situations such as learning environments, point of sales locations, and medical uses.
