Oracle road show targets SMBs

Software behemoth Oracle’s Simply Business road show will crisscross the Middle East during September showcasing the vendor’s e-Business suite, database products and collaboration suite to SMB prospects across the region.

Software behemoth Oracle’s Simply Business road show will crisscross the Middle East during September showcasing the vendor’s e-Business suite, database products and collaboration suite to small and medium business (SMB) prospects.

The vendor has decided that getting out into the market and meeting prospective customers face-to-face is the right way to build market reach. Oracle will hit the road in mid-September calling in at Muscat, Dubai, Bahrain, Jeddah, Beirut, Kuwait City and Doha during a nine-day period from September 14th to September 22nd.

“Oracle is committed to helping small and midsize businesses in the Middle East take full advantage of information technology to grow their businesses at the lowest possible cost,” said Ayman Abouseif, senior marketing director Middle East and Africa at Oracle. “This road show is one of many activities Oracle is doing to help SMBs in the region become more aware of the opportunities available to them.”

Oracle’s E-Business Suite Special Edition includes core modules from Oracle’s enterprise strength E-Business Suite and can be implemented in less than 40 days according to the vendor. Oracle also offers its Standard Edition One database product for SMBs with features such as fast installation, automated management and easy scalability.
