Shopper attracts 20% more exhibitors

Gitex Computer Shopper 2004 will be bigger, better and more successful than ever before, according to the Dubai World Trade Centre. Held at the Airport Expo from October 2 to 8, the show is set to host more than 150 exhibitors representing 500 vendors — 20% more than 2003.

Gitex Computer Shopper 2004 will be bigger, better and more successful than ever before, according to the Dubai World Trade Centre. Held at the Airport Expo from October 2 to 8, the show is set to host more than 150 exhibitors representing 500 vendors — 20% more than 2003.

A number of high profile vendors have already signed up for the retail event, including HP, Acer, Sony, Dell, Microsoft and BenQ. Key Middle East resellers are also onboard, including Jumbo, Jacky’s, Plug-Ins, Emirates Computers, CompuMe, Eros and Grand Stores. All of the above will be trying to tempt consumers to part with their hard earned cash and invest in the latest PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, gadgets and games.

Last year, Shopper attracted in excess of 72,000 visitors and AED 42 million worth of business.
