palmOne promotes Treo Smartphone

palmOne will be promoting its Treo 600 Smartphone to Middle East consumers at this year’s Gitex.

palmOne will be promoting its Treo 600 Smartphone to Middle East consumers at this year’s Gitex. The easy-to-use, small, sleek, integrated device combines a full-featured mobile phone and Palm OS handheld with wireless communication applications, such as e-mail, messaging, web browsing and a digital camera.

The device also comes pre-configured with settings for several popular internet service providers (ISPs) and supports attachment handling for Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel compatible documents.

Customers can also send and receive text messages, while the Treo 600 smartphone also provides access to a variety of advanced multimedia features with its integrated VGA camera, Multimedia Messaging Services compatability and MP3 playback functionality.

According to palmOne, the Treo 600 will simplify business and personal lives for users across the region.
