Acer is promising to display a full range of innovative products at this year’s Gitex. The hardware giant also promises to provide visitors to Computer Shopper 2004 with a bevy of unbeatable deals. At the main show, the hardware giant will showcase both its desktop and mobile PCs solutions, as well as its servers and storage offerings, LCD displays and a multitude of peripherals.
Attendees to both the main show and Shopper will be encouraged to pick up and test Acer’s latest solutions, so they can see for themselves just how impressive they are.
“Acer’s aim is to deliver customers in the Middle East with dependable IT solutions that empower people to reach their goals and enhance their lives,” says Philip Ashkar, director of sales & marketing at Acer Computer (M.E.).
In particular, Acer believes its Ferrari notebook models will cause quite a stir, as they did when the first batch of the machines were unveiled in 2003. This year, visitors to the Acer stand will be able to get their engines running over the latest Ferrari 3200, which has been designed in association with the Ferrari Formula One team and claims to match the style, speed and power of the legendary red Italian super-cars.
For those of a more business orientated ilk, Acer intends to dedicate part of its giant stand in hall three to its e-business solutions, which have been designed for business, government and education.
Also on stand will be Acer’s PCs, which the company says have been specially designed to provide the best and the most efficient solutions for business-critical requirements.
“Corporate customers are fortunate to get from Acer PC products that incorporate not only the latest industry-standard applications but also the most advanced multimedia and networking technologies. This is all backed by high-quality after sale service and technical support,” says Ashkar.
“Everyone from business to home users will be able to get an understanding about what Acer does at Gitex 2004. With senior executives available for meetings and discussions, we will make it clear what Acer’s Middle East operation can do in terms of providing best-of-breed technology coupled with unparalleled support, services, and spare parts," he adds.
