In 2003, APC wowed Gitex with InfraStruXure (ISX), a flexible modular system for power and cooling management. At Gitex 2004, the vendor will be taking the ISX family further with the launch of the ISX network air solutions for server rooms and data centres. It will also display the full range of its power protection portfolio.
“As one of the leading companies in our field Gitex is a great platform to showcase our latest products and services, meet our existing clients and potential new ones,” says Wajih Kably, marketing manager at APC Middle East.
“We like to meet with our customers face-to-face, understand their business problems and provide innovative solutions.”
With its end-to-end solutions for availability of data and communications networks, APC will give attendees, partners and visitors insight into power protection, environmental control and site monitoring services that are designed to proactively identify and correct problems before downtime occurs.
Another high end product in the APC portfolio, designed to address the growing issues of increasing power densities, cable management and poor ventilation, will also be on display as APC demonstrates its Rack Solutions, led by the NetShelter VX for data centre and computer room environments. NetShelter is a vendor-neutral product, which has become increasingly available to users across the region as the APC partner channel improves its supply of these mission critical products.
There will also be a consumer focus as APC offers a full line of productivity solutions for the mobile professional, from USB mobile charger, surge protectors and power adapters through to anti-theft devices and re-chargers. These add-ons for laptop computers and mobile telephones will all be on display accompanied by the launch of APC’s new Biometric laptop security products, and the expanded family of Travel Power cases.
