Management software vendor Computer Associates (CA) will focus on its eTrust IT security and Unicenter infrastructure management solutions at Gitex 2004 as it seeks to expand its market share and boost awareness for its range of solutions.

“The most prominent area on CA’s stand this year will be dedicated to security management where the company will demonstrate its eTrust family of security solutions categorised into three areas: identity and access management, threat management, and security information management,” says Bjarne Rasmussen, vice president of CA Technology Services, CA Middle East.

To deliver proof of concept, CA is allocating two dedicated demo areas in its stand.

“By guarding assets, identifying risks and recommending procedures CA technology ensures that organisations are always prepared and always in business. Our consultants will be on-hand to listen to the business continuity concerns of visitors and advise them on the most appropriate course of action,” says Rasmussen.

A disaster recovery practice session will also be run every hour on the stand, allowing visitors to see how they too can use BrightStor ARCserve Backup to restore data, applications and operating systems from backup media.
