Turkish cabling systems vendor HCS-HES will display its full range of state of the art cabling systems at this year’s show as it teams up with Heritage Technology — its strategic alliance partner for Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and CIS — at Gitex. Heritage is building up a reseller network to strengthen The HCS distribution outlet network across the region.

“HCS has been making direct supplies to large organisations like Siemens, Bayanat, various ministries in the Gulf and Etisalat in the Middle East and now wants to establish a sales distribution network” says Aizaz Karjikar, managing director at Heritage Technology. “Fajr Development General Trading has been appointed as distributor for UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain, Al Hajiry InfoTech for Oman and Image General Trading for Ethiopia. We are looking to expand the regional channel and sign up more distributors and resellers.”

Since signing up HCS earlier this year, Heritage Technology has already imported 18 containers of cabling product into GCC for ready stock distribution in the Middle East markets. Backed by the 10,000-strong Istikbal Group, one of Turkey’s largest corporations, HCS offers a wide range of networking cables, both copper and fibre optic, including backbone cables, flexible terminated costs, connecting hardware and other passive elements.

“Heritage is the regional representative and we will look to appoint at least one in-country distribution partner in its territory markets. From the installer perspective, we will recruit as many as possible and hope to have up to 300 engineers trained on HCS’ products,” says Karjikar.
