Trend Micro teams up with Websense and RSA Security
Network antivirus and internet content security company appears with its partners to give show visitors an insight into the benefits best of breed products provide.
Trend Micro has joined forces with Websense and RSA Security to provide visitors to this year’s Gitex with all the best of breed security knowledge they’ll ever need.
The network antivirus and internet content security software company will focus on antivirus software this year, as it helps local companies and government bodies do battle with the proliferation of computer viruses that are threatening to penetrate organisations across the Middle East region.
By teaming up with Websense, a provider of employee internet management (EIM) solutions, and data protection firm RSA Security, Trend Micro believes visitors to its stand will be able to walk away with a complete security offering.
“Trend Micro’s participation at Gitex with its alliance vendors provides it with the opportunity to demonstrate how its technology can be integrated with those from Websense and RSA Security to provide end-to-end protection,” says Justin Doo, managing director of Trend Micro Middle East & Africa.
On its segment of the stand, Trend will be showcasing its full range of solutions and targeting decision-makers from the Middle East’s leading government and private sector organisations, including vertical industries such as oil and gas, finance and telecoms.
In addition to targeting enterprise end users, the antivirus software vendor is also keen to talk to the Middle East’s small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs) and will be demonstrating its SMB focused suite of integrated antivirus and antispam products.
“Visitors to our exhibition space at Gitex will be able to test a live e-security solution, as well as get the most up-to-date information on new product lines available for the protection of SMBs,” says Doo.
As well as running live demonstrations of its entire product range, Trend Micro will host senior managers from its regional operations to discuss specific customer security issues in a one-to-one environment. The vendor will also bring visitors to its stand up-to-date on some of the big partnership deals it has signed over recent months, including its agreement with Cisco Systems.
