e-TQM College will use the forthcoming Gitex trade show to raise awareness for its line-up of online Total Quality Management (TQM) courses. From its position on the Dubai e-Government stand in hall eight, the electronic college will turn the spotlight on its centres of excellence, which document the prerequisites of quality systems to enable organisations in education, health and policing to deliver quality services to customers.
Another offering set to get substantial airtime come October 3 is e-TQM’s virtual executive club (VEC). Created to support executives by utilising recent developments in tactical and strategic management thinking, VEC is slated to improve executive members’ performance in their organisations in both the public and private sector.
“Gitex will provide e-TQM College with the perfect networking forum for increasing awareness about the college’s offerings in an IT friendly environment,” says Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, director of e-TQM College.
The college, which was established in September 2002 as an initiative of H.H. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, currently offers academic and professional programmes, executive development programmes and it has recently instituted a Masters programme in Total Quality and Performance Management. The programme exposes learners to the latest concepts and developments in TQM and related fields and provides them with expertise in integrated performance management, which is gaining prominence in both the public and the private sectors. With the integrated e-Pay option, the college facilitates online payment of fees, eliminating the need for personal trips to the college.
