Gitex Times paper gets a new look

Gitex Times, the only official daily newspaper at Gitex, has an all-new look. Easier to carry, easier to use and just as good to read, the official publication of the Middle East’s largest information technology and communications event is a must for the 80,000-plus visitors set to surge through the halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre come October 3.

Covering all eleven halls and this year’s overflow tent, the publication has gone up in size and down in weight. This means the paper will carry more news and, rather than being consigned to a carrier bag and read later, the publication will be in people’s hands all day as they catch up with the latest happenings from around Gitex.

Larger and simpler floor plans will also boost usage, as Gitex Times helps attendees get where they want to go. Navigation of the magazine itself has also been improved, with striking demarcation bars flagging each hall.

“Gitex can be a difficult place to get around,” says Walid Akawi, managing director of ITP Business. “That’s why the redesigned Gitex Times will be so valuable for visitors to the show as it lets them know what is happening throughout the five day event in an easy to use and easy to carry format,” he adds.

Published throughout the show in both English and Arabic, the newspaper is the ultimate guide to what is going on throughout the halls of Gitex 2004. Put together by ITP’s team of leading business and technology journalists, Gitex Times speaks to the people who matter when it matters most.
