Deira’s reef mall is in its final stages

Reef Mall will be ready within one month

Reef Mall in Deira is now in the final stages of construction and has been temporarily handed over to the mall’s managers Burjuman. The structure and fit out are complete and the contractor, Belhasa Engineering & Contracting, is performing the final snagging works. A soft opening of the mall is planned for later in August or early September once the outlets are ready to begin trading.

Planning for the Dhs 220 million project began in winter 2001, and construction began in 2002.

Altogether there are four levels. Two park levels, one above and one below ground, and two levels of retail space. Altogether the mall provides 62 500 m2, with a leaseable area of 22 000 m2. The mall will have 500 covered parking spaces with a few hundred spaces outside. The plot area is 16 500 m2.

The mall developer is Al Ghurair; and the client representative is Innotech Construction. Concept designer was Cadiz International.
