Kuwait’s Dar Al Wadi project is set to feature high-speed cabling solution

High-speed internet and wireless access to be provided for Kuwait's Dar Al Wadi project by Systimax Solutions

Real Estate Investment Company has announced that it will install a high-speed Systimax Solutions cabling infrastructure for its Dar Al Wadi project, a 35-floor commercial complex with shopping mall in the Al Sharq Area of Kuwait City. The implementation, running alongside the construction of the building, will provide tenants with services such as high-speed internet and wireless access and IP Telephony.

The project itself is currently in the planning stage, with the implementation of all the copper and fibre cabling planned to end by April 2005. The Systimax infrastructure is spread across 5 000 points and is based on a copper solution, which reduces desktop downtime and supports bandwidth-intensive applications. The solution is designed to future-proof enterprise backbones for next generation equipment and will support traditional services such as telephone lines, as well as advanced services such as IP telephony and convergence including data and video, security, CCTV security and access controls that will be placed throughout the building.

“This complex will provide new offerings for the country’s business sector. Dar Al Wadi’s system will allow tenants to connect to the network by just plugging in their equipment to the existing infrastructure,” said Mohammed Azeem, managing director, Gulf Systems.
