Royal Jordanian carried 179,400 passengers last month, up 16% compared to the year before, and 10% above its sales target. Seat load factors in July also climbed from 75.6% in July 2003 to 77.8% in July 2004. The airline is also up 39.5% compared to 2003 for the first seven months of the year, having carried a total of 946,000 passengers.

RJ attributed the good figures, which included a record July, to good quality inflight services and better coordinating its arrivals and departures. The airline’s deputy president & chief commercial officer, Ghassan Ali also assured the travelling public that all RJ staff are working hard to offer the best services to passengers and cope with the increased level of traffic during this summer.
