MultiSell plans Middle East channel rollout

Media solutions vendor MultiSell Technology Middle East is recruiting partners to bring its space age gesture-controlled software to the region.

Media solutions provider MultiSell Technology Middle East (MultiSell Middle East) is recruiting partners to establish a channel of solution providers in the Middle East. The company, founded earlier this year as a subsidiary of the German company MultiSell Gmbh, believes that it can capture a niche market with its range of unique gesture-controlled solutions designed for a variety of situations such as learning environments, point of sales locations, and medical uses.

“We initially thought about building up product knowledge in the market and then recruiting regional partners,” said Mohammed El Omari, marketing manager at MultiSell Middle East. “But it is actually much easier to bring in channel partners and work with them together to cover the market. You need people who are involved in the market, who have their own accounts and good relationships with clients.”

Despite only opening its Dubai office two months ago, MultiSell Middle East has already been approached by IT companies in several countries and has reached agreements with partners in the UAE and Qatar. The vendor is in talks with Saudi solution providers and plans to open a physical presence in the Kingdom next year. MultiSell Middle East also plans a series of roadshows to educate businesses about its offerings.

“We are organizing some seminars for vertical markets such as real estate, the medical sector and retail banking. At GITEX last year we had people queuing to get a look at our solutions and this is what we will do all over the Middle East,” added El Omari.

The technology behind MultiSell’s products does not come cheap, and the vendor is selling into a niche market of corporate customers. Dubai-based MultiSell Middle East believes that it will generate revenue of several million Dirhams in its first year of operations alone.
