Estarta Solutions, the Jordanian IT company has signed an agreement with the Arab Bank, one of the leading financial institutions in the Middle East to implement the bank's Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solution across more than 400 branches.
The EAI solution facilitates the efficient integration of all disparate legacy and new systems at the 74-year old Arab Bank. An integral part of the EAI Solutions strategy is systems scalability whereby the bank’s environment meets future business needs.
“Estarta Solutions is cooperating with the Arab Bank to build a comprehensive solution, which transitions the Bank's point-to-point integration strategy into an Enterprise Application Integration; resulting in reduced maintenance cost, increased scalability and availability for the distributed systems and enhanced business agility" says Majed A. Rahim, CIO, Arab Bank
“The Arab Bank has always been a leader in adopting and implementing cutting-edge-technologies, and Estarta Solutions is proud to have been selected by the Arab Bank to implement this very strategic and mission-critical project,” says Estarta Solutions CEO, Ennis Rimawi. The Jordan-based company was recently formed after the merger between OneWorld and Zeine Applications and now caters to e-government, telecom and banking verticals.
Estarta is leveraging Microsoft's BizTalk Server and .NET technologies for the EAI solution. “Biz Talk Server and the and the .NET framework make it fundamentally easier to integrate disparate systems across the bank,” says Zeid Shubailat, business development manager, Microsoft Jordan.
The EAI solution allows the Arab Bank to integrate business applications and data within a secure and managed framework, providing application-to-application (A2A) services. In addition, it gives the bank the ability to automate manual tasks, using business process integration. Furthermore, the EAI services also support business-to-business (B2B) collaboration processes.
