Sun Microsystems ties up with New Horizons

Under the terms of the deal, New Horizons will provide an extensive training curriculum based on Sun Educational Services' product portfolio.

Sun Microsystems and has partnered with training house, New Horizons to design, develop and improve training programmes for the hardware vendor’s customers.

New Horizons will become a certified Authorised Sun Education Centre – Service Provider.

“With this appointment, Sun Educational Services in the Middle East aligns itself with the worldwide Sun Microsystems partner strategy. We are extremely confident in the proven delivery capabilities of New Horizons and view the organization as a critical partner within our overall regional business activities,” says Shane Carlson, regional manager – emerging markets EMEA, Sun Services.

New Horizons’ range of Sun training courses are set to roll out across the Middle East and North Africa within the next quarter. The two companies have developed a joint awareness-building initiative to generate demand for the training offerings across the 12-country region.

We will continue to delivery quality training of Sun’s technologies in order to complement the broader activities of Sun Microsystems within the MENA region,” comments New Horizons’ UAE Country General Manager, Nadeem Younis.
