NYK Logistics, the freight forwarding and distribution division of the Japanese based shipping company Nippon Yusen Kaisha, has announced Pioneer Gulf as its first major signing for the Middle East.
NYK Logistics, the freight forwarding and distribution division of the Japanese based shipping company Nippon Yusen Kaisha, has announced Pioneer Gulf as its first major signing for the Middle East since its inception in March 2003.
NYK Logistics says it will provide the Middle East division of the audio and visual manufacturer with a ready-made logistics infrastructure, that will meet the company's unique supply chain needs for handling of volume and demand surges.
The scope of work will include regional stockholding, re-distribution to the expanding Middle East markets as well as value added services such as bar coding, re-packaging and include promotional activities.

The signing of the contract is said to fall in line with NYKL's core strategy of providing a comprehensive range of logistics services catering to the unique supply chain needs of multinational Japanese companies in the consumer electronics and automotive spare parts industries in the UAE.
