King Abdullah II and Prince Alwaleed inaugurate $70 Million Four Seasons Amman

King Abdullah II of Jordan, Queen Rania, and Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal inaugurated Sunday May 25, 2003 the Four Seasons hotel in Amman.

“The inauguration of the Four Seasons Amman by their Majesties is an honour that testifies to their support as well as the Jordanian government’s commitment to back the private sector,” Prince Alwaleed said during the inauguration ceremony. “We shall always support vital projects in Jordan.”

In addition to KHI, Jordanian and Arab investors have a stake in the Four Seasons Amman. The hotel is the 4th addition in the Middle East after the opening of Four Seasons Cairo, Four Seasons Sharm ElSheikh, and Four Seasons Riyadh.

In addition to investments in KHI, Prince Alwaleed holds substantial stakes through entities controlled by himself and his family in Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts (22%), Fairmont International Hotels (5%) and Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts (27%).
