CompuMe introduces simple accounting

The IT retailer CompuMe has today announced its launch of Simply Accounting 2003, accounting software that is designed for the Small Office, Home Office (SOHO) accountant.

The IT retailer CompuMe has today announced its launch of Simply Accounting 2003, accounting software that is designed for the Small Office, Home Office (SOHO) accountant.

The software provides SOHO users with a number of features including, time & billing, payroll integration, multi currency and a number of web-related features. “Simply Accounting 2003 brings the combination of generally accepted accounting principles and a wide choice of new features into an easy to use, cost-efficient retail software package for SOHO accountants,” says Michel Abdelnour, operations manager for CompuMe.

The software is produced by ACCPAC, who is looking to strengthen its position in the Middle East region. “While we continue focusing on our core business, we realise the vacuum on the lower end of the market and the need for accounting and other business packages that have ‘plug and play’ features and map to the limited budget constraints of small businesses,” says Marc Van der Ven, general manager for ACCPAC Middle East.

Abdelnour adds, “we expect Simply Accounting to overtake competing brands on the shelves, not only because of its advanced features and well-studied market price, but also because of the commitment of ACCPAC to all of its brands and customers.”
