Fujitsu Siemens Computers has launched a new range of TFT display monitors, the Silver Line series, claiming that they deliver improved picture quality and sound within a futuristic and ergonomic design.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) has launched an advanced version of its Silver Line LCD TFT display monitors, complete with a new slim line aluminium design.

The latest Silver Line models, the S5 and S7, feature 15-inch and 17-inch screens respectively and FSC say they offer enhanced picture quality heightened by brilliant colours and matchless ergonomics. As part of a festive offering, the new products come with a leather belt and a patented clip.

Jacquie Carson, director of sales and marketing, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Middle East said: “The new Silver Line display represents a perfect balance between trim contemporary looks and superior technology. FSC’s advanced technology has successfully taken visual clarity and sharpness to new levels, with the powerful LCD technology ensuring a striking presentation of speedy video movies and computer animation.”

“LCD TFT display represents a remarkable superiority over Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitors with a larger screen area. FSC is bringing these hi-tech TFT displays to the Middle East at the same time as they are launched in other parts of the world, reflecting our commitment to this market. We are also aware of the technical competence and awareness of our Middle East consumers who, being well versed with the technical aspects of different products will be able to appreciate the Silver Line display’s powerful.”

The viewable screen size of the 15-inch S5 is equivalent to a 17-inch CRT monitor while that of a 17-inch S7 is equivalent to a 19-inch one. The TFT displays are unaffected by electromagnetic disturbance. In addition, the range also consumes low volumes of power, with the Silver Line S 5 having a consumption of just 25 watts. The extremely flat TFT monitors also have removable loudspeakers giving it an added sleekness and futuristic appearance, while combining the in-built technology with a space-saving design.
