Saudis will be have free internet service soon reported the daily Arab News today.

The paper did not indicate when the free service would begin but indicated that the agreement would be presented to Saudi Telecom Company (STC) after a meeting of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Internet Service Committee this week.

It is expected that free internet service would increase the revenue of the existing 27 ISPs’ in the Kingdom while reducing marketing expenditures.
