REC plans to drive visitors to Gitex Saudi
This year’s show is expected to pack 600 companies from the IT industry into Riyadh's 15,000 sqm exhibition hall. Companies that have already signed up include STC, IBM, HP, Sony, Canon, JCCS, Awalnet and New Horizons.
Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC) is looking to increase number of visitors to Gitex Saudi when the doors to the show open on April 27th 2003. In 2002, the five day show attracted approximately 200,000 visitors from the Kingdom and abroad.
This year’s exhibition will pack in 600 companies from the IT industry into the 15,000 sqm exhibition hall. Participants already include Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC), IBM, HP, Sony, Kodak, Canon, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Jeraisy Computer & Communisations, Soroof, Batelco, Awalnet, MSO, Attallah Systems, Al Jammaz and New Horizons.
There will also be national pavilions from the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Taiwan, Korea and India.
Under the rafters of Riyadh Exhibition Centre, visitors to the show will be able to see the latest security systems, multimedia applications, monitor displays, PC & server hardware, digital cameras and a range of high end vertical solutions.
There will also be a selection of high end e-business solutions.
To ensure that visitors to the show have the latest information at their fingertips, ITP will once again publish the Gitex Times in Arabic and English.
