ECC Solutions promotes IT outsourcing

According to the Egypt-based ECC Solutions, outsourcing enables local businesses to cost effectively manage their IT environment.

The tough economic climate in Egypt is pushing local organisations to consider outsourcing their IT operations. According to ECC Solutions, a hosting and IT services organisation based in Egypt, outsourcing will enable local companies to keep abreast of technology developments cost effectively.

Historically, regional companies have been reluctant to outsource much more than the hosting of their web site.

Regardless, ECC Solutions plans to educate the local market to the management and cost benefits of IT outsourcing at the forthcoming Cairo ICT exhibition to be held in mid-January.

ECC plans to give a number of live demonstrations of its IT outsourcing capabilities, especially in the area of business continuity and disaster recovery. Other demos will focus on the importance of application availability.

Cairo ICT 2003 will take place between January 12-15th at the International Conference Centre. The show is expected to attract visitors from all sectors of the Egyptian economy, including government, finance, oil & gas, military, healthcare, CIT consultants and manufacturing.
