ComGuard signs up as Computer Associates reseller

IT security consultancy, ComGuard, will act as an authorised channel for CA’s range of eTrust security products.

IT security consultancy, ComGuard has signed up as a value added reseller (VAR) for Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME). Under the terms of the agreement, ComGuard will act as an authorised channel for CA’s range of eTrust security products.

“ComGuard’s ability to provide round-the-clock, security maintenance to some of the region’s largest and most well-known enterprises, together with CA’s technologies, makes for an unbeatable partnership,” says Daniel Nufer, regional sales director for ComGuard.

ComGuard will provide security services across four core product areas — identity management, access management, threat management and eTrust’s Security Command Centre, which provides portal based security management.

“CA's eTrust family of security solutions distinguishes itself from the many single point solutions in the market by providing security to all enterprise resources and providing organisations with a holistic view of the IT and physical infrastructure,” comments Abdul Karim Riyaz, CA-ME’s director of eTrust Security Solutions Unit

“By ComGuard joining forces with CA-ME, [local] customers will benefit from an integrated suite of security solutions, complemented with consulting services, rather than relying on disparate, multiple products and dealing with the costly and time consuming issue of integration,” adds Riyaz.
