Click, the IT show on AbuDhabi TV, will bring more of everything to its viewers— more competitions, more interactive shows and more extensive coverage of local and international IT developments. The show’s web site www.click.ae has also been revamped to facilitate better interaction.

“With increasing IT penetration in the region, audiences are on the lookout for shows that will provide them with the latest information about developments in information technology. Click already enjoys a high rating in the Arab world and we are geared to enhance that standing by adding more attractive features based on viewer preferences,” Mohammad Amin, producer of Click said.

“The new version of Click will be more interactive and viewer-centric with a series of competitions to which audiences can respond either directly by SMS or online through the web site. These competitions will add interest and dynamism to the programme which will also highlight select news and coverage of exhibitions and conferences in the region and other parts of the globe, to highlight the latest developments in the world of IT and communications,” he added.

The show will award prizes based on audience vote for Best Arabic Web site, Specialised Web site, Personal Web site and Question of the Week. It will also air educational programmes on IT in association with the Sheikh Mohammed IT Education Project.

Also commenting on the web site www.click.ae, Amin said: “One of the achievements of Click has been the ability to transform the concept of surfing the Net by presenting innovative ways of exploring IT. Click is now poised to enter a new era with a format that will appeal to all age groups and accelerate the transformation of the Arab society into a smart e-community, bringing about a high degree of e-literacy and high awareness about the Internet and innovative communications.”
