Citrix to hold annual iForum in Dubai

Citrix and its regional distribuotr Mindware are to host its first annual user forum in the Middle East

Citrix Systems has announced that it is to hold its annual technology forum in the Middle East for the first time. The Citrix iForum, which is scheduled for January 27 next year, will be held at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai. The forum is aimed at technology leaders and innovators, to promote the capabilities of Citrix solutions.

“With the rapid growing demands of the region and logistically, with the opening of our Middle East regional office in Dubai Internet City earlier this year, we are in a position to introduce the iForum to the region”, said Antoine Aguado, regional manager, Citrix Middle East. “Enterprise customers in this region are looking for complete technology solutions and the aim of the iForum is to present a complete architectural solution.”

The iForum will be organised by Citrix’ sole regional distributor, Mindware, and will include both forums, product demonstrations, break out sessions and a partner exhibition. Sponsors so far include HP, Microsoft, Veritas, ADIC, Beta Information Technology, Trinec, SchlumbergerSema, Intel, Acer and New Horizons.

“The event will bring to light the latest in workforce mobility solutions in order to bring flexibility in the normal office structure,” said Lara Christopher, marketing manager of Mindware.
