Citibank installs internet kiosk

Citibank UAE has started installing internet kiosks in its branches. The kiosks, the first of which was installed in the Al Wasl branch, will give customers access to online banking services.

Citibank UAE has started installing internet kiosks in its branches. The kiosks, the first of which was installed in the Al Wasl branch, will give customers access to online banking services, including www.citibank.co.ae.

“This is an innovative and extremely exciting initiative. It comes at a time when an ever-increasing number of Citibank customers are appreciating the speed, convenience and security Citibank Online offers. Citibank is a byword for innovative products and services and the Internet is a source of unlimited potential. Our partnership with EIM (Emirates Internet & Multimedia) will no doubt provide customers extra flexibility and add an element of fun to their daily banking experience,” says Sankar Krishnan, Citibank’s regional e-business head, Middle East.

“We have been working closely with Citibank to provide a solution that will benefit their banking customers,” adds Maroua Naim, general manager of EIM.

“Internet banking is increasing throughout the world as customers reap the benefits of banking on-line. At EIM we realise the importance of partnering with the banking sector to further encourage this trend in the UAE. By introducing the kiosks in Citibank branches, we aim to help increase the number of people utilising the internet to manage their daily banking requirements,” he continues.
