Soccerex Announces 2003 Event for Jumeira Beach

The world's premier football convention and exhibition, Soccerex, has announced its return, for the second successive year, to the Jumeira Beach Conference Centre next March.

The annual star-studded football marketing extravaganza, Soccerex,
Returns to Dubai in March 2003. Following on from the success of the 2002 event, the Business Convention for Football Worldwide, makes the UAE its home once again for its seventh anniversary.

The exhibition and conference will be held at The Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai on March 23rd-24th, coinciding with the UAE’s hosting of the FIFA Youth World Cup which begins on March 25th.

To celebrate this, His Highness Sheikh Saeed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
President of the UAE Football Association, is issuing a personal invitation to representatives of all the other National Associations and 1000 of the biggest football clubs in the world to attend Soccerex as his guests, prior to the Youth World Cup.

FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter comments “ I would like to express my
pleasure for the combination of the schedules of Soccerex 2003 and the
forthcoming FIFA Youth World Championships UAE 2003, which create a
fruitful synergy between the two events”.

“The largest gathering of football business in the world” is how
Soccerex CEO Duncan Revie describes it.

After meeting with Revie in Abu Dhabi the Asian Football Confederation President, Mohammed Bin Hammam, confirmed his full support for Soccerex and his personal participation. The subject of his address at the conference will be “The Future is Asia”.

Many businesses, clubs and associations have already booked exhibition space, with Al Shabab and Al Wahda leading the way from the UAE.
