HP touts price/performance breakthroughs of Itanium 2 machines

Computing giant releases workstations and servers leveraging on Intel’s second generation 64-bit chip.<br>

HP has begun rolling out its Itanium 2-based machines, touting price/performance breakthroughs for HP-UX, Microsoft Windows and Linux. The computing giant has released several workstation and server configurations leveraging on Intel’s second generation 64-bit chip.
