Fitch withdraws ratings on Arab Jordan Investment Bank
Fitch Ratings withdrew its Short-term 'B' and Long-term 'B+' ratings of the Arab Jordan Investment Bank on August 30, 2002
Fitch Ratings, the international rating agency, has withdrawn its Short-term 'B' and Long-term 'B+' ratings for the Jordanian based Arab Jordan Investment Bank at the request of the bank's management.
AJIB was founded on February 2nd,1978 to become the first investment bank in Jordan. AJIB was originally founded by Jordanian individuals (50%) and the remainder by Jordanian and other Arab financial institutions. The bank's network of branches cover the main cities in Jordan with an international banking operation in Cyprus.
