ITP Technology Fashion Show makes a comeback at Gitex 2002

The ITP Technology Fashion Show combines international models with the latest in consumer technology.

The ITP Technology Fashion Show is making a return at this year’s Gitex exhibition. The show, which will run alongside the Gitex Computer Shopper at the Dubai Airport Expo Centre, combines international models with the latest in consumer technology.

“Last year’s show was a great success, both for exhibitors and visitors, and we feel that the Technology Fashion show strongly enhanced the visitor experience,” explains Walid Akawi, publisher, ITP.

“Once again, ITP will be providing stylish and entertaining shows throughout the day which will also be an optimum vehicle for demonstrating the latest and greatest innovations in consumer electronics,” he adds.

Dubai World Trade Centre, the organisers of Gitex and Computer Shopper are also enthusiastic about the return of the fashion show.

“We feel that the Technology Fashion show was an innovative concept that fulfilled its task of heightening the visitor experience to the show, and as such made the show even more successful,” says Pankaj Nadkarni, international project manager, DWTC.

“At DWTC we are constantly looking for ways to improve and enhance what is without doubt the leading consumer Information Technology event in the region,” he adds.
