The Gulf Education Show is to be used as a forum to showcase various courses by delegates. TechnoCampus, a subsidiary of the Al Rostamani Group, will be pushing its Young e-Commerce Manager (YEM-V2) course and continuing to push its Multimedia Professional (MMP). The company’s stated aim with the courses is to turn ‘high aptitude graduates into productive professionals’.

“Education in the new economy is incomplete without a proper understanding of information technology and the capability to use these tools to the best advantage,” said Angela Wilson, business development manager, TechnoCampus.

“In order to fully leverage the expected growth rate in the IT industry, it is extremely important to invest in human resources and facilitate the creation of a technologically proficient workforce. Our programmes are designed keeping in mind the demands of the workplace as well as the human being, in order to turn out certified professionals who will add value to their work environments,” she continued.

The company is also a certified Microsoft partner and offers an extensive range of Redmond’s training courses. It also offers training on Oracle 8i, TC Java and a selection of networking, design and other courses.

The basis of the YEM programme is to offer a wide range of skills to students while allowing them gain an overview of the systems they are working on combined with the business angle. The programme has been modified on the basis of market research and feedback from previous graduates.

“We work with students, entry level executives, and experts at all levels of business to create skilled professionals who combine a high level of technical competence with a singular business perspective and a high degree of self-development,” concluded Wilson.
