CTS to manage Start Consult infrastructure

CTS, a subsidiary of the Cupola Group, has announced that it is to fully manage the IT infrastructure of Start Consult, a UAE financial research and consulting company.

CTS, a subsidiary of the Cupola Group, has announced that it is to fully manage the IT infrastructure of Start Consult, a UAE financial research and consulting company.

The deal covers user support, network administration, back up, anti-virus up dates and could involve running Start Consult’s Web site. The other main asset being maintained is the company’s database that holds the key to Start Consult’s business.

“CTS has come a long way from starting life as a call centre. We are keenly focused on adding value to our clients by improving their revenue and lowering the costs of their operations. We do not provide individual services but business solutions, the future lies in our ability to becoming a more complete service provider,” said Kazim Awan, general manager, CTS.

Hilary Robinson, COO of Start Consult said: “Because we know the company [CTS], we are confident in them and it is cheaper and more convenient for us to go to them.”

Analysts predict the continued growth of the outsourcing market and CTS has considerable experience of CRM outsourcing for a number of global companies like Hewlett Packard.

“The way the market is going with outsourcing, we look at ourselves trying to provide whatever our clients require and becoming full service providers. We can work on either customer sites or at our own centre here in Jebel Ali. We still have some spare capacity here but if we need more we will put it up,” Awan added.

He explained that the target market for CTS is SMBs that need round the clock support without the cost of installing and running their own systems.
