Trend Micro increases investment in the local market

Trend Micro reinforces its position in local market, with the opening of Dubai-based regional headquarters.

Trend Micro is beefing up its regional presence with the opening of an office in Dubai. The anti-virus vendor has been steadily building momentum in the market after attending Gitex Dubai for the last three years, the recent DubTech exhibition and its forthcoming appearance at Gitex Riyadh.

“We’ve been a significant figure in the UAE security market for over three years now, via our distributors,” says by managing director of Trend Micro BeNeLux/MEA, Justin Doo.

“But there’s nothing better than a team based within the region that understands the needs of our customers, who will develop and support our business accordingly. This is an exciting time for us and we’re very much looking forward to the future,” he adds.

Running in parallel to the office opening has been a local recruitment drive. The software vendor recently appointed a channel manager with local experience.
