The prizes will be presented at a ceremony held at the Fairmont Hotel, Dubai on Wednesday 27th March.

“We were staggered by both the quantity and outstanding quality of entries,” said Walid Akawi, Publisher, ITP. We received around 1,000 entries across all 5 categories, which comprised Black and White, Advertising & Commercial, Newspaper, Magazine and General & Open.”

“We are absolutely delighted with the entries that we have had, for not only do they reflect the excellent quality of photography here in the Middle East, but it is evident that there is a real enthusiasm for the subject.

“Several of the entries of an outstanding nature were submitted by young photographers, which is an extremely good sign for the future of Middle East photography,” continued Akawi.
