DTP Solutions, distributor for BorderWare an Internet security provider, has signed up Beta IT as a ‘Gold Tier’ value added reseller. Through the deal Beta IT aims to establish a security specific unit that can operate alongside its core network integration business.

“Our mission for 2002 is to develop a security specific department, with certified staff, to handle the growing need for such solutions in an increasingly security-conscious market,” says Osama Al Daour, Beta IT’s general manager.

“We have been extremely impressed with BorderWare’s range of third-party certifications such as Common Criteria EAL5* and that it is the only firewall to satisfy the FBI’s Top 20 list of vulnerabilities. After researching many vendors’ solutions, we chose BorderWare through DTP, due to its local presence and reputation in the market,” adds Al Daour.

Dean Bell, managing director of DTP Solutions adds, “we are pleased to welcome Beta on board as a Gold Tier reseller in order to expand our coverage of the region. With access to their comprehensive list of retained customers in both the public and private sectors we see extensive growth opportunities for our range of enterprise security products.”
