Sun Ace Gulf implements ACCPAC

Plastic additives manufacturer, Sun Ace Gulf is placing technology at the core of its business, following its deployment of ACCPAC's financial and business management platform.

Sun Ace Gulf, a Jubail based manufacturer of plastic additives, has deployed ACCPAC’s financial and business management platform as part of its plans to rebuild its business.

The increasing profile of ACCPAC in the region and the simplicity and efficiency were some of the main reasons behind the company’s decision to opt for ACCPAC solution.

“ACCPAC is a leading end-to-end e-business solutions vendor that has been gaining great grounds in Saudi Arabia,” said Hamdan Al Hamdan, managing director of Sun Ace Gulf. “From the simple financial modules and production process control today, to customer relationship management, wireless and e-business solutions in the near future, our new system delivers it all, with the quality and efficiency we are seeking.”

ACCPAC’s Saudi-based partner Monu-Tech Information Systems developed and implemented the solution for Sun Ace based on ACCPAC’s financial modules.

“Along with the full management control that the system provides, the ACCPAC platform creates the cost advantages, timely response and intelligent decision making tools that Sun Ace Gulf needs to create its competitive edge,” said Saeed Ashour, senior marketing & sales executive, Monu-Tech Information Systems.

Sun Ace’s decision to automate its business processes follows last year’s GOSI report, which called for small-to-medium manufacturers in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries to invest in technology to compete with foreign brands in the region.

“Accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) means that local industries, if not competitive on quality, price and customer support with the rest of the world, cannot face imported brands,” explained Saeed Ashour. “Our role in creating a competitive edge for the Saudi market is to deliver competitive advantages and increase profitability of local companies. This can be done by correctly implementing ERP solutions that enhance quality, cut costs, and create the potential return on investment that companies in Saudi Arabia seek.”

“With powerful end-to-end business solutions that run on the most widely used technology platforms, communicate with other software brands, and allow for upgrade as the customers’ needs grow and change, ACCPAC becomes the natural choice for the Kingdom’s evolving businesses in search of technology that create business advantages,” said Marc Van der Ven, regional manager for ACCPAC.
