int@j promotes Jordan's IT readiness

int@j is looking to attract foreign investors to Jordan by showcasing the development and readiness of the IT industry in a CD-ROM. The disc will include information and web site links concerning Jordan's IT infrastructure.

int@j (The Information Technology Association of Jordan) is looking to attract foreign investors to Jordan by showcasing the development and readiness of the IT industry in a CD-ROM.

The CD-ROM, developed in association with JUSBP (Jordan United States Business Partnership), features a host of information relating to the IT industry in Jordan and covers issues such as infrastructure, education, qualified workforce, intellectual property and qualifying industrial zones (QIZs).

The disc, which was designed and developed by Integrated Business Solutions, also includes testimonials from HM King Abdullah II and IT specialists promoting Jordan’s potential as an IT hub.

“The promotional CD will be used as a tool to market and promote Jordan to potential foreign investors. It includes information about the IT sector in Jordan, investment opportunities, and success stories. Moreover, it establishes an awareness of what Jordan’s public and private sector can provide as a whole,” said Ra’ed Bilbessi, CEO of int@j.

Links to government, private sector and public web sites are also provided on the CD-ROM.

‘int@j, in association with JUSBP, decided to develop the “IT in Jordan” CD ROM in order to create awareness of the favourable investment climate in Jordan, industrial and business strengths, capabilities and potential, and available talent,” added Bilbessi.
