The Arab Bank, the largest bank in Jordan and a major financial institution in the Middle East, announced the launch of its enhanced web site, www.arabbank.com.

The Arab Bank selected The Middle East North Africa Financial Network, www.menafn.com, a provider of online financial services for banks and financial institutions, to enhance its recently launched portal. “The Arab Bank’s partnership with MENAFN comes from our strong commitment to continuously providing our customers with innovative products and services. The Arab Bank has been one of the leading institutions in launching such services as Internet and WAP banking. The financial content and tools provided by MENAFN will enable us to strengthen our offering,” said Hamdi Zarro, Assistant Head of Information Systems Division at the Arab Bank PLC.

MENAFN integrated a variety of tools and financial information into the Arab Bank’s web site, which will also feature MENAFN’s stock quotes for Arab and US companies, Arab indices, in addition to World indices.

“MENAFN is proud to be working with the Arab Bank PLC, one of the leading financial institutions in the region and a pioneer in the introduction of online services. Our platform is designed to enable financial institutions, such as the Arab Bank, better serve their customers by providing reliable, accurate, and comprehensive content and tools,” said Sawsan Dababneh, co-founder of MENAFN. “We intend to roll out similar services to other institutions in the region within the near future.” She added.

The Arab Bank’s new web site has been developed by Integrated Business Solutions, a MENAFN sister company and a technology integration partner.
