Acer highlights 25 years of innovation

Acer Computer (ME) will showcase the diversity of its latest high-end, small-and-medium enterprise business-use solutions at the twenty-first-running of Gitex.

Acer Computer (ME) will showcase the diversity of its latest high-end, small-and-medium enterprise business-use solutions at the twenty-first-running of Gitex.

Highlights will include the company’s exhibition of its Intel Pentium 4-based computing offerings and its mobile solutions, such as the TravelMate models.

The event will also see a new corporate focus from Acer as it aims to highlight a renewed commitment to its customers’ needs.

“Our participation in GITEX 2001 will focus on highlighting Acer’s new identity and its dominant presence in both the enterprise and consumer markets in the Middle East,” says Eric Tien, managing director, Acer Computer.

“Computing has become an integral part of everyday life, and at Gitex 2001, Acer will demonstrate how innovative technology plays a role in creating a better tomorrow,” he explains.

In addition to developing core PC technology, Tien adds that “Acer will continue to provide building blocks and develop innovative devices, Internet appliances and e-business solutions.”
