Brokat Technologies will display its financial applications family while referencing it clients in the local banking sector at Gitex 2001. The company will also feature its Brokat Corporate Banking and Brokat Consumer/Retail Banking products on the stand.

"There are a number of Brokat Technologies products that can help supply advanced, multi-channel capabilities to regional banks," says Nigel Spear, country manager, Middle East and Africa, Brokat.

"The Brokat Financial Framework, which will be one of the main features of our Gitex stand, is an open, standards-based infrastructure that can form the basis of a worldwide product for online banking or brokerage. It allows organisations to re-use and extend existing Brokat applications or plug in and run additional financial services," he adds.

Brokat will present its solutions for the finance and commerce segments in the Middle East, in conjunction with several key partners.
"Our reputation for working closely with customer-appointed third parties helps to create a friendly working atmosphere of confidence and trust. Quite simply, visitors to Gitex will discover for themselves that Brokat is a great company to do business with," adds Spear.
